O céu deitado, suspenso no corpo do rio e as pedras que se acomodam e voam no leito do tempo que corre

Respiro no sonho da imagem.

A série de vídeos Hipnos (Deus do sono, pai de Morfeu na mitologia grega) surge da procura pelo onírico, manifesto entre terra, céu e água que se sonham. Da vontade de habitar a fenda espaço temporal entre as dimensões que chamamos real e imaginário.

Reflexos na superfície do presente.

Nesta prática, Iniciada em 2020, a busca por essas imagens hipnagógicas (entre sono e vigília) produzidas com um dispositivo móvel, que opera como extensão do corpo em movimento e que pausa para atravessá-las num gesto de performance meditativa e de registro onírico.

O que já era latente na minha pesquisa, se efetivou no trabalho de campo da residência Pororoca no Mirante em Igatu, Bahia.

Águas, pedras, trilhas e paisagens, como entidades viventes e ancestrais, foram fazendo cada vez mais parte também do meu universo onírico, da experiencia sonhada e permeando com sutileza a dimensão do real.

Esta série de vídeos vêm sendo apresentadas em diferentes contextos instalativos.

The sky lying, suspended in the body of the river and the stones that settle and fly on the bed of time that passes

Breathing in the dream of the image.

The video series Hypnos (God of sleep, father of Morpheus in Greek mythology) arises from the search for the dreamlike, manifest among earth, sky and water that dream of one another. The desire to inhabit the space-time gap between dimensions we call real and imaginary.

Reflections on the surface of the present.

In this practice, started in 2020, the search for these hypnagogic images (between sleep and wakefulness) produced with a mobile device, which operates as an extension of the body in movement and which pauses to cross them in a gesture of meditative performance and oniric register.

What was already latent in my research became effective in the field work at the Pororoca residency in Mirante at Igatu village in Bahia.

Waters, stones, trails and landscapes, as living ancestral entities, became increasingly part of my oneiric universe and of the dreamed experience, subtly permeating the dimension of reality.

This series of videos has been presented in different installation contexts.
