Dárida (São Paulo, 1970) is a Portuguese-Brazilian multimedia artist and researcher.
Dedicated to creating audiovisual installations based on propositions, experiences and performative actions, where she explores the phenomena of expansion of consciousness in the face of the latent capture of subjectivity in the contemporary universe and the possibilities of restitution and insurgency of voices and powers obliterated by hegemonic knowledge .
Practices that develop around the reconfiguration of micropolitical landscapes in compositions that cross different devices and knowledge by using voice, temporal space and the dream universe in a poetic and relational dimension.
Investigates the creation and reactivation of rituals and practices, which allow operating in a territory of (re)integration between culture and nature within the scope of audiovisual and performance arts.
She is currently developing the project “Oráculo. Onírico Partituras e Insurgeência” funded by the Science and Technology Foundation, in the PHD program - Performing Arts and Moving Image at the University of Lisbon, where her research delves into the consideration of the micropolitical sphere of the body and the subconscious in light of the perspective of thought decolonial studies, proposing the (re)activation of practices to conceive new modes of coexistence.
She holds a Masters in Multimedia Art - Performance and Installation at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, graduated in Cinema at FAAP - SP and studied Set Design at the National Film and Television School, England. (2001) and architectural design at Abra -SP (2003).
Acts also in the area of audiovisual and cinematographic production, as a production designer, art director and set designer.
Her current base is Lisbon.

Dárida (São Paulo, 1970) é artista multimédia e investigadora luso-brasileira.
Dedica-se à criação de instalações audiovisuais a partir de proposições, experiências e ações performativas, onde explora os fenômenos de expansão de consciência face à latente captura de subjetividade no universo contemporâneo e as possibilidades de restituição e insurgência de vozes e potências obliteradas pelo conhecimento hegemônico.
Práticas que se desenvolvem em torno da reconfiguração de paisagens micropolíticas em composições que cruzam diferentes dispositivos e saberes ao usar a voz, o espaço temporal e o universo onírico em uma dimensão poética e relacional.
Investiga a criação e reativação de rituais e práticas que permitam operar num território de (re)integração entre cultura e natureza no âmbito das artes do audiovisual e da performance.
Elabora atualmente, O projeto “Oráculo. Onírico Partituras e Insurgência” financiado pela Fundação de Ciência e Tecnologia, NO Doutoramento em Artes Performativas e da Imagem em Movimento da Universidade de Lisboa, onde sua pesquisa aprofunda-se na consideração da esfera micropolítica do corpo e do inconsciente à luz da perspectiva do pensamento decolonial, propondo a (re)ativação de práticas para conceber novos modos de coexistência.
Tem mestrado em Arte Multimédia - Performance e Instalação na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, licenciou-se em Cinema na FAAP - SP e estudou Set Design na National Film and Television School, Inglaterra. (2001) e desenho de arquitetura na Abra -SP (2003).
Atua também na área da produção audiovisual e cinematográfica, como production designer, diretora de arte e cenógrafa.
Sua base atual é Lisboa.
